Narrations Of The Bed Of Sayyidina Rasoolullah

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَ: إِنَّمَا كَانَ فِرَاشُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، الَّذِي يَنَامُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَدَمٍ، حَشْوُهُ لِيفٌ.
‘A’isha said (may Allah be well pleased with her): "The mattress on which Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to sleep consisted of tanned hides stuffed with fibers.”
