Prescribed Punishments (Kitab Al-Hudud)

حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَالشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحْوَهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ فَدَعَا بِالشُّهُودِ فَشَهِدُوا ‏.‏
He called the witnesses who testified.
Narrated by A similar tradition has also been transmitted by Ibrahim and al-Sha’bi from the Prophet (ﷺ) through a different chain of narrators. But this version does not mention the words:

فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ
And he gathered [his people] and called out
سُورَةُ المَعَارِجِ
Al-Ma'aarij (The Ascending Stairways)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَٰدَٰتِهِمْ قَآئِمُونَ
And those who are in their testimonies upright
سُورَةُ البُرُوجِ
Al-Burooj (The Constellations)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌۭ
And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.
