حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، كَانَ فِي عَقْلِهَا شَىْءٌ بِمَعْنَاهُ ‏.‏
A woman who had something (feebleness) in her mind.
Narrated by Anas reported this tradition to the same effect through a different chain of narrators. This version adds:

Indeed, I found [there] a woman ruling them, and she has been given of all things, and she has a great throne.
سُورَةُ الذَّارِيَاتِ
Adh-Dhaariyat (The Winnowing Winds)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
فَأَقْبَلَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ فِى صَرَّةٍۢ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌۭ
And his wife approached with a cry [of alarm] and struck her face and said, "[I am] a barren old woman!"
