أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ مَنْجُوفٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْنَا ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ، فَقَالَ حَرَّمَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏ فَأَتَيْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَقُلْتُ سَمِعْتُ الْيَوْمَ شَيْئًا عَجِبْتُ مِنْهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَا هُوَ قُلْتُ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ فَقَالَ حَرَّمَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ مَا الْجَرُّ قَالَ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ مِنْ مَدَرٍ ‏.‏

He said, "Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud."

قَالُوٓا۟ أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people?"

سُورَةُ يُوسُفَ

Yusuf (Joseph)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1 ayah

قَالَ مَعَاذَ ٱللَّهِ أَن نَّأْخُذَ إِلَّا مَن وَجَدْنَا مَتَٰعَنَا عِندَهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذًۭا لَّظَٰلِمُونَ

He said, "[I seek] the refuge of Allah [to prevent] that we take except him with whom we found our possession. Indeed, we would then be unjust."

سُورَةُ الأَعۡرَافِ

Al-A'raaf (The Heights)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1 ayah

وَنَادَىٰٓ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ أَنْ أَفِيضُوا۟ عَلَيْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ أَوْ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۚ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَرَّمَهُمَا عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

And the companions of the Fire will call to the companions of Paradise, "Pour upon us some water or from whatever Allah has provided you." They will say, "Indeed, Allah has forbidden them both to the disbelievers."
