أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ثُمَامَةُ بْنُ حَزْنٍ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ، قَالَ لَقِيتُ عَائِشَةَ فَسَأَلْتُهَا عَنِ النَّبِيذِ، فَقَالَتْ قَدِمَ وَفْدُ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَأَلُوهُ فِيمَا يَنْبِذُونَ فَنَهَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَنْبِذُوا فِي الدُّبَّاءِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُقَيَّرِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ ‏.‏

And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr.

سُورَةُ القَصَصِ

Al-Qasas (The Stories)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

فَجَآءَتْهُ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا تَمْشِى عَلَى ٱسْتِحْيَآءٍۢ قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِى يَدْعُوكَ لِيَجْزِيَكَ أَجْرَ مَا سَقَيْتَ لَنَا ۚ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُۥ وَقَصَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقَصَصَ قَالَ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ نَجَوْتَ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness. She said, "Indeed, my father invites you that he may reward you for having watered for us." So when he came to him and related to him the story, he said, "Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing people."

سُورَةُ الشُّعَرَاءِ

Ash-Shu'araa (The Poets)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

'Aad denied the messengers

قَالَ هَٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةٌۭ لَّهَا شِرْبٌۭ وَلَكُمْ شِرْبُ يَوْمٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ

He said, "This is a she-camel. For her is a [time of] drink, and for you is a [time of] drink, [each] on a known day.
