Da'if

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى السُّدِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الْيَقْظَانِ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَجَلِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ اللَّحْدُ لَنَا وَالشَّقُّ لِغَيْرِنَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The niche-grave is for us and the ditch-grave is for others.’”

And do not pray [the funeral prayer, O Muhammad], over any of them who has died - ever - or stand at his grave. Indeed, they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and died while they were defiantly disobedient.

But as for one who believes and does righteousness, he will have a reward of Paradise, and we will speak to him from our command with ease."
