And establish prayer at the two ends of the day at first light and before sunset that is pray in the morning at noon and in the afternoon and in some watches zulafan is the plural of zulfa a portion of the night that is at sunset and late evening. Indeed good deeds such as the five prayers annul misdeeds minor sins this was revealed regarding one who kissed a female stranger and told the Prophet s about it and then asked him ‘Is this verse true for me?’ and the Prophet said to him ‘It is so for every person of my community’ as reported by the two Shaykhs Bukhārī and Muslim. That is a remembrance for the mindful an admonition for those who heed them.

“And perform the prayer, at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds. That is a reminder for the mindful.” He said: “O Messenger of Allah, is this only for me?” He said: “It is for everyone who acts upon it.”

Sahih Muslim #6828'Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported that a person kissed a woman and he came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and made a mention of that to him. It was (on this occasion) that this verse was revealed:Sahih

" And observe prayer at the (two) ends of the day and in the first hours of the night. Surely, good deeds take away evil deeds. That is a reminder for the mindful" (xi. 115). That person said: Allah's Messenger, does it concern me only? He (the Holy Prophet) said: It concerns every one of my Unimah, who acts according to it.

Sunan Ibn Majah #3992It was narrated from Ibn Mas’ud that a man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said that he had kissed a woman, and he started to ask about expiation, but he (the Prophet (ﷺ)) did not say anything to him. Then Allah revealed the Verse:Sahih

“And perform prayers at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds. That is a reminder for the mindful.” The man said: “O Messenger of Allah, is this (the Verse) just for me?” He said: “It is for whoever acts upon it among my nation.”

A man kissed a woman (unlawfully) and then went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and informed him. Allah revealed: And offer prayers perfectly At the two ends of the day And in some hours of the night (i.e. the five compulsory prayers). Verily! good deeds remove (annul) the evil deeds (small sins) (11.114). The man asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), "Is it for me?" He said, "It is for all my followers."
