تِلْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهَآ إِلَيْكَ ۖ مَا كُنتَ تَعْلَمُهَآ أَنتَ وَلَا قَوْمُكَ مِن قَبْلِ هَٰذَا ۖ فَٱصْبِرْ ۖ إِنَّ ٱلْعَٰقِبَةَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
Tilka min ambaaa'il ghaibi nooheehaaa ilaika maa kunta ta'lamuhaaaa anta wa laa qawmuka min qabli haazaa fasbir innal 'aaqibata lilmuttaqeen
That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. You knew it not, neither you nor your people, before this. So be patient; indeed, the [best] outcome is for the righteous.

Scholars largely agree on this ayah
Those that is these verses containing stories such as the story of Noah are of the tidings of the Unseen of the tales of that which was hidden from you which We inspire in you O Muhammad (s). You yourself did not know it nor did your people know it before this Qur’ān. So be patient in conveying the Message and in enduring your people’s hurt as Noah endured. Truly the praiseworthy sequel is for those who are God-fearing.

Fear Allah and show endurance. She (not recognising him) said: You have not been afflicted as I have been. When he (the Holy Prophet) had departed, it was said to her that he was the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), she was mortally shocked. She came to his door and she did not find doorkeepers at his door. She said: Messenger of Allah. I did not recognise you. He said: Endurance is to be shown at first blow, or at the first blow.

The Prophet (ﷺ) came upon a woman who was weeping for her child. He said to her: Fear Allah and have patience. She said: What have you to do with my calamity ? She was then told that he was the Prophet (ﷺ). She, therefore, came to him. She did not find doorkeepers at his gate. She said: I did not recognize you, Messenger of Allah. He said: Endurance is shown only at a first blow.
The Prophet (ﷺ) delivered a sermon the like of which I had never heard before. He said, "If you but knew
what I know then you would have laughed little and wept much." On hearing that, the companions of
the Prophet (ﷺ) covered their faces and the sound of their weeping was heard. A man said, "Who is my
father?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "So-and-so." So this Verse was revealed: "Ask not about things which, if
made plain to you, may cause you trouble." (5.101)
Anas bin Malik said to a woman of his family, "Do you know such-and-such a woman?" She replied,
"Yes." He said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by her while she was weeping over a grave, and he said to her,
'Be afraid of Allah and be patient.' The woman said (to the Prophet). 'Go away from me, for you do
not know my calamity.'" Anas added, "The Prophet (ﷺ) left her and proceeded. A man passed by her and
asked her, 'What has Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to you?' She replied, 'I did not recognize him.' The man said,
'He was Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)."' Anas added, "So that woman came to the gate of the Prophet (ﷺ) and she did
not find a gate-keeper there, and she said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! By Allah. I did not recognize you!' The
Prophet said, 'No doubt, patience is at the first stroke of a calamity.'"
