أَمْ يَقُولُونَ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًۭا ۖ فَإِن يَشَإِ ٱللَّهُ يَخْتِمْ عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ ۗ وَيَمْحُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْبَٰطِلَ وَيُحِقُّ ٱلْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

Am yaqooloonaf tara 'alal laahi kaziban fa-iny yasha il laahu yakhtim 'alaa qalbik; wa yamhul laahul baatila wa yuhiqqul haqqa bi Kalimaatih; innahoo 'Aleemum bizaatis sudoor

Or am here is like bal do they say ‘He has invented a lie against God?’ in ascribing the Qur’ān to God exalted be He. For if God will He can seal He can fortify your heart with patience to endure the hurt they cause you by such sayings and otherwise — and God did this. And God will efface the falsehood which they speak and vindicate confirm the truth with His words the ones revealed to His Prophet. Truly He is Knower of what is in the breasts of what is in the hearts of people.

"Indeed Allah, Most High, said:'I have created creatures whose tongues are sweeter than honey and their hearts are more bitter than aloes. So by Me, I swear to abase them with a Fitnah, leaving them utterly devoid of reason. Is it Me whom they try to delude, or it is against Me whom they conspire?'"

from Ibn 'Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Indeed Allah has put the truth upon the tongue and in the heart of 'Umar." He said: "And Ibn 'Umar said: 'No affair occurred among the people, except that they said something about it, and 'Umar said something about it'" or he said - "Ibn Al-Khattab" - Kharijah (one of the narrators) had a doubt about it - "except that the Qur'an was revealed in line with what 'Umar had said."
