Tafsir Al-Jalalayn: An-Nahl, Ayah 15
وَأَلْقَىٰ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَأَنْهَٰرًۭا وَسُبُلًۭا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
And He has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it shift with you, and [made] rivers and roads, that you may be guided,

Scholars offer complementary perspectives
(And He hath cast into the earth firm hills) firm mountains (that it) the earth (quake not with you, and streams) and He made rivers flow therein for your own benefit (and roads) and He made therein roads (that ye may find a way) in order that you find your way therein.
Al-Jalalayn Commentary
And He cast into the earth firm mountains lest it should shake move with you and He made therein rivers such as the Nile and ways roads so that you might be guided to your destinations
