Tafsir
(And lo, it is) i.e. the description of the Qur'an and Muhammad (pbuh) (in the Scriptures of the men of old) is written in the Scriptures of the prophets who came before you.

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).

Al-Jalalayn Commentary
And truly it the allusion to the Qur’ān that would be revealed to Muhammad (s) is in the Scriptures the Books of the ancients such as the Torah and the Gospel.
