Tafsir Al-Jalalayn: Ash-Shu'araa, Ayah 96

قَالُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ

They will say while they dispute therein,

Al-Jalalayn Commentary

They the perverse shall say as they wrangle therein with those whom they used to worship

Scholars offer complementary perspectives

(And they) i.e. the disbelievers (will say, when they are quarrelling) with their deities, leaders and the offspring of Iblis (therein) in hell:

Anas reported this hadith with this change that there was some doubt between (places mentioned) and there is a slight variation of wording.
