Tafsir Al-Jalalayn: Aal-i-Imraan, Ayah 141
وَلِيُمَحِّصَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَيَمْحَقَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
And that Allah may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers.
