وَتَسِيرُ ٱلْجِبَالُ سَيْرًۭا

And the mountains will pass on, departing -

and the mountains move with a great motion becoming scattered dust this is the Day of Resurrection.

Scholars offer complementary perspectives

(And the mountains move away) on the surface of the earth (with (awful) movement) like the movement of the clouds in the sky,

Five things have passed: Al-Lizam, the defeat of the Romans, the mighty grasp, the splitting of the moon, and the smoke.
