and the mountains pegs? with which the earth is tied down like tents are tied down with pegs the interrogative is meant as an affirmative.

Scholars offer diverse perspectives

(And the high hills bulwarks) for it so that it does not sway?

" I declare sacred the area between its two lava mountains."
