فَلَا ٱقْتَحَمَ ٱلْعَقَبَةَ

But he has not broken through the difficult pass.

Al-Jalalayn Commentary

Yet why does he not assault the obstacle? why does he not surmount it?

Scholars offer diverse perspectives

(But he hath not attempted the Ascent) He says: but did he go beyond that hurdle which is the Bridge over hell?

" He will not be able to cover this distance."
