Tafsir Ibn Abbas: Taa-Haa, Ayah 37

وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَيْكَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَىٰٓ

And We had already conferred favor upon you another time,

Ibn Abbas Commentary

(And indeed, another time) other than this time, (already We have shown thee favour) We have favoured you at another time, i.e. other than this time,

Scholars offer complementary perspectives

And certainly We have done you a favour already another time

The same hadith as the previous hadith has been transmitted through another chain.

This hadith has been narrated by Anas with another chain of transmitters and with minor additions.
