Tafsir Ibn Abbas: Al-Anbiyaa, Ayah 11
وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍۢ كَانَتْ ظَالِمَةًۭ وَأَنشَأْنَا بَعْدَهَا قَوْمًا ءَاخَرِينَ
And how many a city which was unjust have We shattered and produced after it another people.

Ibn Abbas Commentary
(How many a community that dealt unjustly) whose people were disbelievers and idolaters (have We shattered) have We destroyed, (and raised up) and created (after them) after their destruction (another folk) who lived in their habitations!
