Tafsir Ibn Abbas: Al-Furqaan, Ayah 35

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلْنَا مَعَهُۥٓ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ وَزِيرًۭا

And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture and appointed with him his brother Aaron as an assistant.

Ibn Abbas Commentary

(We verify gave Moses the Scripture) the Torah (and placed with him his brother Aaron as henchman) as helper.

Scholars offer diverse perspectives

And verily We gave Moses the Scripture the Torah and made Aaron his brother go with him as a minister an assistant.
