Tafsir Ibn Abbas: Ash-Shu'araa, Ayah 132

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَمَدَّكُم بِمَا تَعْلَمُونَ

And fear He who provided you with that which you know,

Ibn Abbas Commentary

(Keep your duty towards Him) fear Him (who hath aided) provided (you with (the good things) that ye know),

Scholars offer diverse perspectives

And fear Him Who has provided you Who has been gracious to you in a way that you know

‘Indeed this knowledge is faith, so carefully consider from whom you take your faith’.
