Tafsir Ibn Abbas: Ash-Shu'araa, Ayah 200
كَذَٰلِكَ سَلَكْنَٰهُ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
Thus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals.

Scholars offer diverse perspectives
So in the same way in which We would have caused denial of it to penetrate the hearts of disbelievers had it been recited by a non-Arab We have caused denial of it to penetrate the hearts of the criminals the Meccan disbelievers when Muhammad (s) recites it.
Ibn Abbas Commentary
(Thus do We make it) the denial (traverse the hearts of the guilty) the idolaters: Abu Jahl and his host.
