Tafsir Ibn Abbas: Ash-Shu'araa, Ayah 59
كَذَٰلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَٰهَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel.

Scholars offer complementary perspectives
So it was that is Our expulsion of them was as We have described and We made the Children of Israel to inherit these after drowning Pharaoh and his folk.
Ibn Abbas Commentary
(Thus) I do with the ones who disobey Me, (and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them) to inherit Egypt after their destruction.
