As for the disbelievers neither their riches nor their children will avail will protect them against God that is against His chastisement; those — they shall be fuel for the Fire they shall constitute what the Fire will be fuelled by read waqūd as opposed to wuqūd ‘fuel’.

“No man who loses three of his children will ever enter the Fire, except in fulfillment of the oath (of Allah).”*
"No Muslim, three of whose children die, will be touched by the Fire, except in fulfillment of the (Divine) oath."
Anyone amongst the Muslims, three of whose children die, and he resigns himself calmly to the will of God, Fire will not touch him but for the fulfilment of the oath.
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Any Muslim who has lost three of his children will not be touched by the Fire except that which will render Allah's oath fulfilled."
"The dust in the cause of Allah and the smoke of Hell will never be combined in a man's face, and stinginess and faith can never be combined in a slave's heart."
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "No Muslim whose three children died will go to the Fire except for Allah's oath (i.e. everyone has to pass over the bridge above the lake of fire)."
Do you think this woman would ever afford to throw her child in the Fire? We said: By Allah, so far as it lies in her power, she would never throw the child in Fire. ' Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ...
The Messenger of Allah said: "Any Muslim who has lost three of his children will not be touched by the Fire, except for what will fulfill the oath."
Ibn Abbas Commentary
((On that day) neither the riches) the abundance of riches (nor the progeny) nor the abundance of progeny (of those who disbelieve) i.e. Ka'b Ibn al-Ashraf and his fellow companions; and it is also said that this refers to Abu Jahl and his companions (will aught avail them with Allah) will not avail them anything from Allah's torment. (They will be fuel for fire) they are the firewood of hell.
