Tafsir Ibn Abbas: Al-Mursalaat, Ayah 8

فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ

So when the stars are obliterated

Allah then showed when this will be, saying: (So when the stars are put out) when the light of the stars is gone,

Scholars offer complementary perspectives

So when the stars are obliterated when their light is extinguished

" The vessels would be as numerous as the number of stars.
