But then the messenger of God Sālih said to them ‘This is the she-camel of God so let her have her drink!’ her drink on her day — one day was hers the next theirs.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: Excess water should not be withheld so as to prevent (cattle) by it from grass.
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Do not withhold the superfluous water, for that will prevent people from grazing their cattle."
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "One should not prevent others from watering their animals with the surplus of his water in order to prevent them from benefiting by the surplus of grass."

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came upon an emaciated camel and said: Fear Allah regarding these dumb animals. Ride them when they are in good condition and feed them when they are in good condition.
"The Messenger of Allah forbade (eating) animals that had been taken as targets, the milk of Al-Jallalah (animals that eat dung), and drinking directly from water skins."
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "One of the rights of a she camel is that it should be milked at a place of water."
Ibn Abbas Commentary
(And the messenger of Allah) Salih (said) that is before they hamstrung the she-camel: (It is the she-camel of Allah) leave the she-camel of Allah alone, (so let her drink!) i.e. and let her drink in peace!
