Tafsir Ibn Abbas: Ash-Shams, Ayah 3

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا

And [by] the day when it displays it

(And the day when it revealeth him,

Scholars offer complementary perspectives

and by the day when it reveals her as it rises high
