" The mouse may set the house on fire over its inhabitants."
Narrated by This hadith has been reported on the authority of Jabir through another chain of transmitters but with a slight variation of words:

Do not leave the fire burning in your houses when you go to sleep.
Narrated by Salim, on the authority of his father, reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said:

Do not leave a fire burning in your houses while you are asleep.
