The Book of Prayer

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ اَلْعِيدِ خَالَفَ اَلطَّرِيقَ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ 1 .1 - صحيح لغيره. رواه البخاري (986)، وله شواهد ذكرتها في "الأصل"، ومنها حديث ابن عمر الآتي.
Narrated Jabir (RA): On an 'Eid day, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) would return by a different road from the one he had taken when going out (for the 'Eid prayer.)
