حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ، قَالَ أَتَانَا ابْنُ مِرْبَعٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ وَنَحْنُ وُقُوفٌ بِالْمَوْقِفِ مَكَانًا يُبَاعِدُهُ عَمْرٌو - فَقَالَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَيْكُمْ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ كُونُوا عَلَى مَشَاعِرِكُمْ فَإِنَّكُمْ عَلَى إِرْثٍ مِنْ إِرْثِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَعَائِشَةَ وَجُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ وَالشَّرِيدِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ ابْنِ مِرْبَعٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ‏.‏ وَابْنُ مِرْبَعٍ اسْمُهُ يَزِيدُ بْنُ مِرْبَعٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ وَإِنَّمَا يُعْرَفُ لَهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ الْوَاحِدُ ‏.‏

"Ibn Mirba Al-Ansari came to us while we were standing at our places" (Amr bin Sinar said:) a place that Amr (bin Abdullah) indicated was far - "and he said: 'I am a messenger whom the Messenger of Allah sent to you to say: 'Stay with your (Hajj) rites, for indeed you are following a legacy left by Ibrahim.'"
