Mishkat al-Masabih #1386
Prayer

وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَن نضحي بأعضب الْقرن وَالْأُذن. رَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه
He said, "God’s Messenger forbade us to sacrifice an animal with a broken horn or a slit ear.”
Ibn Majah transmitted it.
