Zakat
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَعَن أم بحيد قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «رُدُّوا السَّائِلَ وَلَوْ بِظِلْفٍ مُحْرَقٍ» . رَوَاهُ مَالِكٌ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَرَوَى التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ مَعْنَاهُُُُُُُ
Umm Bujaid reported God’s messenger as saying,
“Send away the beggar , even with only a burnt hoof.”
Malik and Nasa’i transmitted it, and Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted something to the same effect.
