Mishkat al-Masabih #3700
Jihad

وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم يقولُ: «مَنْ علِمَ الرَّميَ ثمَّ تَرَكَهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا أَوْ قَدْ عَصَى» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
He told that he heard God’s Messenger say, “If anyone knows how to shoot and gives it up he does not belong to us,” or, “he has been disobedient.”
Muslim transmitted it.
