Purification
The Arabic includes the chain of narration (sanad) and the collector's commentary; the English translation shows the Prophet's words only.
وَعَنْهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يتكئ على حجري وَأَنا حَائِض ثمَّ يقْرَأ الْقُرْآن
She also said, “The Prophet would recline on my lap when I was menstruating, then recite the Qur'an.”
