Musnad `Umar b. al-Khattab (ra)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيَرْقُدُ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا أَجْنَبَ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ.
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar, that 'Umar bin al-Khattab رضي الله عنه said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked: Can a man go to sleep when he is junub? He said: `Yes, if he does wudoo’.`
