Musnad 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib
It was narrated that Abu `Ubaid, the freed slave of ‘Abdur Rahman bin `Awf, said: Then I saw `Ali bin Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) after that on the day of Eid; he started with the prayer before the khutbah and he prayed with no adhan or iqamah. Then he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbidding (the people) to leave any of the meat of their sacrifice after three days.
