Musnad 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib
It was narrated from `Ali (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet (ﷺ) gave his wives the choice between this world and the Hereafter; he did not give them the option of divorce.
`Ali bin Hashim bin al-Bareed narrated a similar report and said: He gave his wives the choice between this world and the Hereafter; he did not give them the option of divorce.
