The Book of Mosques and Places of Prayer

وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ هَذَا الْحَرَّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلاَةِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
This heat is from the exhalation of Hell-fire, so delay the prayer till it is cool.
Narrated by Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

Context

In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advises delaying prayer during extreme heat, attributing it to the exhalation of Hell-fire. This guidance illustrates the consideration for the physical well-being of worshippers and emphasizes the importance of performing prayers in a suitable environment.
