وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ مَشَطْنَاهَا ثَلاَثَةَ قُرُونٍ ‏.‏
We braided her hair in three plaits.
Narrated by Umm 'Atiyya reported:

But they hamstrung her, so he said, "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. That is a promise not to be denied."
سُورَةُ الشُّعَرَاءِ
Ash-Shu'araa (The Poets)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
فَعَقَرُوهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ نَٰدِمِينَ
But they hamstrung her and so became regretful.
سُورَةُ المُرۡسَلَاتِ
Al-Mursalaat (The Emissaries)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍۢ مَّكِينٍ
And We placed it in a firm lodging
سُورَةُ يسٓ
Yaseen (Yaseen)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَٰلًۭا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ
Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft.
