حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَكِّيٍّ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، - الْمَعْنَى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، - وَلَيْسَ بِالنَّهْدِيِّ - عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ اقْرَءُوا ‏{‏ يس ‏}‏ عَلَى مَوْتَاكُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَهَذَا لَفْظُ ابْنِ الْعَلاَءِ ‏.‏
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Recite Surah Ya-Sin over your dying men. This is the version of Ibn al-Ala'

And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous."
