Oaths and Vows (Kitab Al-Aiman Wa Al-Nudhur)

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الأَحْوَلُ، أَنَّ طَاوُسًا، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏:‏ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَرَّ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ بِإِنْسَانٍ يَقُودُهُ بِخِزَامَةٍ فِي أَنْفِهِ، فَقَطَعَهَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقُودَهُ بِيَدِهِ ‏.‏
The Prophet (ﷺ) while going round the Ka'bah passed a man who was led with a ring of bridle in his nose. The Prophet (ﷺ) cut it off with his hand and ordered to lead him by catching his hand.
Narrated by Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

Context

Ibn 'Abbas narrates an incident where the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) encounters a man being led by a bridle in his nose while circling the Ka'bah. The Prophet (ﷺ) cuts the bridle and instructs the man to be led by hand instead. This act reflects the Prophet's compassion and his commitment to treating individuals with dignity.

And among them are those who abuse the Prophet and say, "He is an ear." Say, "[It is] an ear of goodness for you that believes in Allah and believes the believers and [is] a mercy to those who believe among you." And those who abuse the Messenger of Allah - for them is a painful punishment.
