حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ بَحِيرٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ بَيْنَ الْمَلْحَمَةِ وَفَتْحِ الْمَدِينَةِ سِتُّ سِنِينَ وَيَخْرُجُ الْمَسِيحُ الدَّجَّالُ فِي السَّابِعَةِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ هَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عِيسَى ‏.‏
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The time between the great war and the conquest of the city (Constantinople) will be six years, and the Dajjal (Antichrist) will come forth in the seventh. Abu Dawud said: This is sounder than the tradition narrated by Isa (bin Yunus)

It is not for a prophet to have captives [of war] until he inflicts a massacre [upon Allah 's enemies] in the land. Some Muslims desire the commodities of this world, but Allah desires [for you] the Hereafter. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
