أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ جُعْشُمٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ عُمْرَتَنَا هَذِهِ لِعَامِنَا أَمْ لأَبَدٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ هِيَ لأَبَدٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
