حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ الْوَالِدُ أَوْسَطُ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ فَأَضِعْ ذَلِكَ الْبَابَ أَوِ احْفَظْهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
"The father is the middle door of Paradise (i.e. the best way to Paradise), so it is up to you whether you take advantage of it or not."
Narrated by Abu Darda' heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say that:

O my father, indeed there has come to me of knowledge that which has not come to you, so follow me; I will guide you to an even path.
يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيْطَٰنِ وَلِيًّۭا
O my father, indeed I fear that there will touch you a punishment from the Most Merciful so you would be to Satan a companion [in Hellfire]."
سُورَةُ الإِنسَانِ
Al-Insaan (Man)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦ تَذْكِرَةٌۭ ۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًۭا
Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way.
سُورَةُ نُوحٍ
Nooh (Noah)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
لِّتَسْلُكُوا۟ مِنْهَا سُبُلًۭا فِجَاجًۭا
That you may follow therein roads of passage.' "
