حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَابِرٍ الطَّائِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّوَّاسَ بْنَ سَمْعَانَ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ سَيُوقِدُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ قِسِيِّ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ وَنُشَّابِهِمْ وَأَتْرِسَتِهِمْ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
"The Muslims will use the bows, arrows and shields of Gog and Magog as firewood, for seven years.'"
Narrated by It was narrated from Nawwas bin Sam'an that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

Context

Nawwas bin Sam'an narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) mentioned that Muslims would use the weapons of Gog and Magog as firewood for seven years. This hadith speaks to the eschatological events that will occur and the eventual triumph of Muslims over adversities.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

عَلَيْهِمْ نَارٌۭ مُّؤْصَدَةٌۢ
Over them will be fire closed in.
سُورَةُ الحَاقَّةِ
Al-Haaqqa (The Reality)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَالٍۢ وَثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومًۭا فَتَرَى ٱلْقَوْمَ فِيهَا صَرْعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍۢ
Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.
سُورَةُ المُؤۡمِنُونَ
Al-Muminoon (The Believers)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
تَلْفَحُ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَهُمْ فِيهَا كَٰلِحُونَ
The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles.
