Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
Da'if

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ يَرْفَعُونَ أَبْصَارَهُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ أَوْ لاَ تَرْجِعُ أَبْصَارُهُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
“Let those who lift their gaze to the heavens desist, or their sight will not come back.”
Narrated by It was narrated from Jabir bin Samurah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

Those whose eyes had been within a cover [removed] from My remembrance, and they were not able to hear.
سُورَةُ الحِجۡرِ
Al-Hijr (The Rock)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
لَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَٰرُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌۭ مَّسْحُورُونَ
They would say, "Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic."
سُورَةُ النَّازِعَاتِ
An-Naazi'aat (Those who drag forth)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
أَبْصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٌۭ
Their eyes humbled.
سُورَةُ الشُّعَرَاءِ
Ash-Shu'araa (The Poets)
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1 ayah
فَأَسْقِطْ عَلَيْنَا كِسَفًۭا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful."
