O fellow-prisoners! As for one of you that is the cup-bearer he will depart after three days and he shall serve his lord his master wine to drink as usual; and as for the other he will depart after three days and he will be crucified so that the birds will eat from his head this is the interpretation of both your dreams. They said ‘We never dreamed a thing!’; he said decided concluded is the matter regarding which you sought opinion’ about which you enquired whether you spoke truthfully or were lying.

God laughs at the two men one of whom kills the other; both of them will enter Paradise. They (the Companions) said: How, Messenger of Allah? He said: One is slain (in the way of Allah) and enters Paradise. Then God forgives the other and guides him to Islam; then he fights in the way of Allah and dies a martyr.

Sunan Ibn Majah #1248It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to put two or three of the slain of Uhud in one shroud. He would ask:Sahih

“Which of them had memorized more Qur’an?” And if one of them was pointed out to him, he would put him in the niche-grave first. And he said: “I am a witness over them.” He commanded that they should be buried with their blood, and that the funeral prayer should not be offered for them and they should not be washed.

Sunan Abu Dawud #3705‘Abd Allah b. Abi Qatadah said that his father Abu Qatadah forbade mixing raisins and dried dates, mixing unripe dates and fresh dates, and mixing dates beginning to take on colour and fresh dates. He said:Sahih

Make nabidh (drink) from each separately. He (the narrator Yahya) said: Abu Salamah bin 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to me this tradition on the authority of Abu Qatadah from the Prophet (ﷺ)

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Khamr comes from these two.'" Suwaid (one of the narrators) said: "From these two trees: The date palm and the grapevine."
