And We set between them between Sheba who were in Yemen and the towns which We had blessed with abundance of water and trees — these being the towns of Syria to which they used to travel for commerce — prominent towns continuous along the route from Yemen to Syria and We facilitated for travellers the journeying through them such that they would rest for the afternoon in one and spend the night in the next and so on until the end of their travel having no need of any supplies or water along the way; and We said ‘Travel through them night and day safely’ having no fear by night or by day.

When you travel (through a land) where there is plenty of vegetation, you should (go slow and) give the camels a chance to enjoy the benefit of the earth. When you travel (through a land) where there is scarcity of vegetation, you should hasten with them (so that you may be able to cross that land while your animals ore still in a good condition of health). When you make a halt for the night, avoid (doing so on) the road, for the tracks are the pathways of wild beasts or the abode of noxious little animals.

Sahih Muslim #4823It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:Sahih

When you journey through a fertile land, you should (go slow and) give the camels a chance to graze in the land. When you travel In an arid (land) where there is scarcity of vegetation, you should quicken their pace (lest your camels grow feeble and emaciated for lack of fodder). When you halt for the night, avoid (pitching your tent on) the road, for it is the abode of noxious little animals at night.

Sunan an-Nasa'i #1441It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:

"We used to travel with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) between Makkah and Al-Madinah, fearing nothing but Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and praying two rak'ahs."

Sunan Abu Dawud #2552Narrated Anas ibn Malik:Hasan Sahih

When we alighted at a station (for stay), we did not pray until we united the saddles of the camels.
