Scholars offer complementary perspectives
and assuredly Our hosts namely the believers they will indeed be the victors over the disbelievers by their being given the definitive proofs and assistance against them in this world. And if some of these believers are not victorious over them in this world then assuredly in the Hereafter they will be so.

A group of people from my Umma will always remain triumphant on the right path and continue to be triumphant (against their opponents). He who deserts them shall not be able to do them any harm. They will remain in this position until Allah's Command is executed (i.e. Qiyamah is established). In Qutaiba's version of the tradition, we do not have the words:" They will remain in this position."
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: A group of people from my Umma will continue to be triumphant over the people until the Command of Allah overtakes them while they are still triumphant.
