If you avoid the grave sins that are forbidden you those for which the threat of punishment has been prescribed like murder fornication or theft — according to Ibn ‘Abbās these number as much as seven hundred — We will absolve you of your minor evil deeds on account of your acts of obedience and admit you by an honourable gate read mudkhalan or madkhalan that is by an honourable admittance or location namely Paradise.

from Ibn 'Abbas (regarding this Ayah): Those who avoid great sins and Al-Fawahish except Al-Lamam (minor sins) (53:32). He said: "The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Your forgiveness, O Allah is so ample, and which of Your worshipers has not committed Al-Lamam (minor sins)!'"

Sunan an-Nasa'i #4019Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari narrated that:Sahih

The Messenger of Allah said: "Whoever comes worshipping Allah and not associating anything with Him, establishing Salah, paying Zakah and avoiding major sins, Paradise will be his." They asked him about major sins and he said: "Associating others with Allah, killing a Muslim soul, and fleeing (from the battlefield) on the day of the march."

Sunan an-Nasa'i #2443Suhaib narrated that he heard Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa'eed say:Sahih

"The Messenger of Allah addressed us one day and said: 'By the One in Whose hand is my sould' three times then he lowered his head, and each of us lowered his head, weeping, and we did not know what he had sworn that oath about. Then he raised his head with joy on his face, and that was dearer to us than red camels. Then he said: 'There is no one who offers the five (daily) prayers, fasts Ramadan, pays Zakah and avoid the seven major sins, but the gates of Paradise will be opened to him, and it will be said to him: Enter in peace."'

Sahih Muslim #16It is narrated on the authority of Jabir that Nu'man b. Qaufal came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said:Sahih

Would I enter Paradise if I say the obligatory prayers and deny myself that which is forbidden and treat that as lawful what has been made permissible (by the Shari'ah)? The Prophet (ﷺ) replied in the affirmative.

“From one ‘Umrah to another is an expiation for the sins that came in between them, and Hajj Mabrur (an accepted Hajj) brings no less a reward than Paradise.”
