يَسْتَعْجِلُ بِهَا ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهَا ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مُشْفِقُونَ مِنْهَا وَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهَا ٱلْحَقُّ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُمَارُونَ فِى ٱلسَّاعَةِ لَفِى ضَلَٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍ
Yasta'jilu bihal lazeena laa yu'minoona bihaa wallazeena aamanoo mushfiqoona minhaa wa ya'lamoona annahal haqq; alaaa innal lazeena yumaaroona fis Saa'ati lafee dalaalim ba'eed
Those who do not believe in it are impatient for it, but those who believe are fearful of it and know that it is the truth. Unquestionably, those who dispute concerning the Hour are in extreme error.

Scholars offer complementary perspectives
Those who do not believe in it seek to hasten it they say ‘When will it come?’ as a presumption on their part that it will never come; but those who believe are apprehensive of it and know that it is the truth. Nay but verily those who are in doubt those who argue concerning the Hour are indeed in extreme error!
Related Hadiths
The last hour will not come before rising of the sun in its place of setting. When it rises (there) and the people see it, those who are on it (the earth) will believe. This is the time of which the Qur’anic verse says: “. . .no good will it do to a soul to believe in them then, if it believed not before nor earned righteousness through its faith."
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The Hour will not be established till the sun rises from the west, and when it
rises (from the west) and the people see it, then all of them will believe (in Allah). But that will be the
time when 'No good it will do to a soul to believe then. If it believed not before.."' (6.158)
The Hour will be established (so suddenly) that two persons spreading a garment between them will
not be able to finish their bargain, nor will they be able to fold it up. The Hour will be established
while a man is carrying the milk of his she-camel, but cannot drink it; and the Hour will be established
when someone is not able to prepare the tank to water his livestock from it; and the Hour will be
established when some of you has raised his food to his mouth but cannot eat it."
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The Hour will not be established until the sun rises from the West: and when
the people see it, then whoever will be living on the surface of the earth will have faith, and that is (the
time) when no good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before." (6.158)
"Race to do works against seven. Are you waiting but for overwhelming poverty, or distracting richness, or debilitating illness, or babbling senility, or sudden death, or the Dajjal, so that hidden evil is what is awaited, or the Hour? The Hour is more calamitous and more bitter." (Daif)
“Before the Hour comes, there will be tribulation
like
pieces of black night, when a man will wake up as a believer but
be a
disbeliever by evening, or he will be a believer in the evening
but
will be a disbeliever by morning. And the one who is sitting will
be
better than the one who is standing, and the one who is standing
will
be better than the one who is walking, and the one who is
walking will
be better than the one who is running. So break your
bows, cut their
strings and strike your swords against rocks, and if
anyone enters
upon anyone of you, let him be like the better of the
two sons of
Adam. (i.e. the one killed, not the killer).”
